I am pleased to share that my oil paintings shown here will be on loan to 21C Museum in Bentonville! It’s an absolute honor to have these on exhibit starting from March, which is Women’s History Month. They will then be on loan for 6 months. Here is a behind the scenes pic that was taken earlier today in my studio, where I was about to package my paintings for delivery. Yes…my Mini Cooper was traded in for my husband’s car!!

My work is inspired by women in my life and each painting has a story behind it. The oil painting shown on the left with the blue Dupatta (scarf) is titled ‘Bahin’ which is the Urdu word for sister. The one in the white & gold Dupatta is titled ‘Ustad’ which translates to teacher in Urdu. A huge thank you to my beautiful model, Jazmine Irvin!
